The automation system for the management of the locomotive section is a project of the Ministry of Railways for the year 2000 (contract number 2000JO48). In September 2001, it passed the technical appraisal (2001) No. 033 organized by the Ministry of Railways. The system is composed of two sub-systems: "centralized control system of turnout" and "image monitoring system", and the information interface is reserved with the transportation and safety system, maintenance management system and comprehensive management system of the machine section. The system uses the existing information resources of the machine section, which has the effect of reducing staff and increasing efficiency, ensuring safety and improving labor conditions, and is an effective way to realize the automation and informationization of the machine section management, which has been promoted and used in the whole road.
